MARIA
Latinate form of MARY. This was the name of several queens of Portugal. It was also borne by the 18th-century Habsburg queen Maria Theresa, whose inheritance of the domains of her father, the Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI, began the War of the Austrian Succession. I read it´s like MÁIRE in Irish? am i wrong? I also read that the name Maria creates the urge to understand and help others, we emphasize that it causes a interfering, bossy quality. Check this out: "You tend to avoid issues, however, and put off until tomorrow the things which should be done today" OMG that´s so true!! but i am still responsible! Ok and Maria is the mother of Jesus, so there you go, i can´t be bad can i?

My name is Nick. I don't know the meaning of it, but apparently my dad wanted to name me Carl. I think things ended up for the better. Also, I like oranges.
because I lack originality, my user name is the name of a song... here is a tidbit of the song: Next we bring intimidation, Social status segregation Where you all justify & play consumer Fear works further toward division, Indiscriminate spastic decisions We keep you paranoid, so you can't struggle It's just beginner's luck if you get out It's just beginner's luck if you get out This finely fashioned fairy tale Spins a web that's indestructible And rife with lies Fill your pockets now you're mine And if you can't find a vein, I'll be the medicine I'll be the medicine for you My love only you, my love We weave a tale of our stark heroics, swaying the public from our bully pulpits Create illusions for imperial schemes poor against the poor for democracy While we rape that word with a swift incision snatch up the poverty to fill up the prisons boost economy with perpetual war and everything you buy only feeds us more! |

Calum.
"The boy's name Calum is pronounced KAL-um. It is of Scottish and Gaelic origin. Variant of Columba (Latin) "dove". This was popular among early Christians because the dove was a symbol of gentleness, purity, peace, and the Holy Spirit. Saint Columba was an influential sixth-century Irish missionary who founded a monastery on the Scottish island of Iona. His contemporary, Saint Columban, also Irish, was a missionary in France, Switzerland, and Italy. Calum and its variant Callum may be considered variants of Malcolm in Scotland." I makes sense, considering my heavy Scottish heritage on both sides of my family. I'm meant to be gentle, pure and peace though... well i am, to a small extent! |

Audity - portmanteau of the words "audio" and "oddity"
Although it would literally mean "odd audio," it means "odd music" in my dialect. For those mathematical people: "audio" + "oddity" = "Audity"

Constanze means being firm, stable, steady, continual and stanch.
I quite like my name for its meaning but also for its sound and for the fact that there`s the word "TANZ" which is German for dance included :-) all my friends and family members call me "consti" which is..hm..okay

Fool
1. a silly or stupid person; a person who lacks judgment or sense. 2. a professional jester, formerly kept by a person of royal or noble rank for amusement: the court fool. 3. a person who has been tricked or deceived into appearing or acting silly or stupid: to make a fool of someone. 4. an ardent enthusiast who cannot resist an opportunity to indulge an enthusiasm (usually prec. by a present participle): He's just a dancing fool. 5. a weak-minded or idiotic person. 6. to trick, deceive, or impose on: They tried to fool him. 7. to act like a fool; joke; play. 8. to jest; pretend; make believe: I was only fooling. But obviously I'm none of the above |

Apparently my name (Elisa) means 'I swear to God'
very interesting, since I don't believe in God. But I don't like my name anyway, even if it meant 'I am the coolest person in the world'. Oh and my nickname, CoconutSkins, is of course the name of a song by Damien Rice. I was listening to this song while I was signing up, and couldn't think of something better.
