Im Home! saw damo!

well im home! i had the most unreal time in n.y. while i was waiting to get my ticket at the beacon i happen to stroll round the back and who do i see? damo and glen hanserd!! on their phones!! i keep on walking then i think......."wait a minute!?!?" but they were gone.

so how amazing was the show? the frames rocked they were so engaging and energetic, while damo clearly but so much into the show it was powerful..when they turned off all the lights i think everyone was holding their breath. and lisa with the ribbon things? amazing. it didnt even matter i was on my own because i made great friends with yer man beside me. Only glitch was the drunk loud girls near me..but i told them to shut up. im on such a rush.

another small problem was getting evacuated from jfk. scary scary sh*t. we were just eating and this woman started screaming at us so my friend and i dropped out stuff and legged it. it was very frightening...we were all told to walk away form the building, down this road. there was loads of police and emergency vans and the like.

phew.....anyway..damo, thanks for an amazing show. best night of my life...i got a t shirt for $2..unreal.

The ribbon thing - During the last part of Amie, before the "spaceship" thing that Damien's been doing, Lisa, picked up these streamer things from Vyvienne's cello stand and started artfully and beautifully twirling them...they looked like colorful shooting stars. Lisa said they're called Poi. I told her it reminded me of these fire dancers I saw when I was in Galway, and she said that's where she got them and that she usually does it with fire, but the venue wouldn't let her.

well..i kinda feel mean about the €2 t-shirt.. i met a fella there and we were talkin and this poor misfortune who was about 12 was selling tickets but literally all i had was $2 so i beat him down...then i felt bad cuz he could have needed that money to eat.

well jfk got evacuated cuz there was a mysterious abandoned bag that failed the dog sniffer test. im sorry i took ages to reply its just iv to cut back on internet time what with me being penniless and all.
