Who Can Run a Sister-FTP Server?

It's very easy. I'll send you the software, and it's not difficult to walk you through it.

You need roughly 10gb of hard drive to host shows, and a cable modem or better to connect with. Then you run the program, and just leave your computer on all the time.

If I had the space on my hard drive I'd be all up for this to take the load off Mario, but I'm usually somewhere between 1-3 gb of free space available and I use that for downloading and burning shows. If I get a bigger hard drive for Christmas I might be able to do it but right now I'm just not able.

I am trying to do b&ps and stuff to help get music out there by other means though.

Im in the same boat. I've not got enough space on my harddrive to hold it all. I hope to be getting extra memory soon though.

That means you've 470GB's of your hard drive is filled using a 56K connection???? How's that work?

like i said ftp groups, people can start sharing through trees. i have most of whats on the server though i reencoded a couple shows to mp3 (shock horror!!!!) due to lack of hard drive space at the time, so ill have to get them again. id be willing to do an ftp but under a few conditions. id only be able to do it at certain times as its a family pc and if i could send everything to some other people to do the knock on ftp tree effect i talked about in an earlier post.

daol20 i work in a net cafe and i have millions of tech fruiends for trading with movies/ mp3s everything..

im hoping by the end of year ill have a terabyte:F FULL

and hoping i will have dsl after xmas

damienrice.serveftp.net
damien:rice
port 21
PASV off

went to your ftp, seems good, I like the travis I don't have that show.

How does this work do we all upload the damien rice shows on so we can all share them, or do you have them already and you just need to do something on your end?
