Wolverhampton and Manchester [Southamerica Vine]

well... i´ve got the discs to share with all southamerican eskimos (endless thanks to melissa!)... maybe i´ll need your help, people... i´m not an expert (sorry)... oj, here it goes:

if you live in the southamerica and want to be on the vine, sign up here and follow these instructions:

1. post here if you want copies of these shows: copy and paste the "master list", add your name to the bottom of the list and then repost the list in this thread. be sure to copy and paste the latest update of the list

2. the first person contacts (private message) the next person below them for their mailing address and sends them within 5 days of receipt. after you have received the shows you should update the list by copying and pasting again, adding the date you received them next to your name ("IN" date)

3. update the list one more time when you send the discs on with the day you shipped them ("OUT" date) you'll see an example below when i start the list.. after you have sent the discs on it becomes the responsibility of the person below you to keep the vine moving along

4. however - you should check this thread to be sure the person you sent to received the discs. if the discs are lost in the mail, the last person who had them should reseed the vine with their copies.

5. copy the originals when you receive them, keep your copies and send the originals on to the next person on the vine. take good care of the originals and use cardboard mailing sleeves or bubble padded packaging when you send them on.

6. if someone doesn't follow through it will kill the vine, so please be considerate of others and if for whatever reason you think you can't pass the discs along ask to be skipped by posting in this thread.

7. if anyone blatantly kills the vine by not passing the discs on and doesn't respond to communication from other vine participants, they will be tarred and feathered and banished from the igloo forever to the frozen tundra (okay maybe not, but that would be very uncool so don't do it)

8. if you don't have a burner and would like to B&P email me at: jellyfishsting [at] gmail.com (east of the mississippi only)

9. please do not distribute via bittorrent or usenet
please do not convert into mp3 or other lossy formats
please do not sell these recordings
please do pass along the source info if you trade these shows

Bueno, yo me sumo a la idea de la cadena por sudamerica..Esta muy copada la idea, pero necesitamos que mas eskimos de sudamerica se prendan..

GENTE DE SUDAMERICA DONDE ESTAN????? No sean timidos, sumense que esta buena la idea.

Q linda acción de tu parte Venerita...Yo también tengo algunos shows q he bajado desde trackers,.y estoy acostumbrado a los trade o B&P..Es muy poca la gente de sudamérica q lo hace,.por lo q me sorprende encontrar a alguien con tan buena voluntad, justo al otro lado de la cordillera..Un beso a la distancia, take care.

I can't believe that I didn't get to this place earlier but... I guess that I just came in the exact time that I needed to so... in honor to such a great singer and songwriter as Damien Rice is (and Lisa… we all sure will miss her wonderful voice), and in honor and respect to such generosity and easygoing attitude from verenita and WeGo and all the others and specially the one responsible, who made possible to have this gigs in this cds in our Latin-land well... here we are, sudamerican eskimos, in the research for more like us.. the next time those cds will travel from Colombia !!!

Yup, last night, like at 9.pm or so, the security guy guard at my apartment gave me the package after just a couple of weeks of short waiting, and then the next hours it was just all about damien rice (and FLAC files and finding out how to play them).

So.. eskimo pals here in our Latin-American Hispanic continent, I'll be waiting and checking for the next destination of these wonderful cds. Once again, Totally Thanks (like Cerati in his –almost-last concert at BsAs hehe).

Let me know when we get contact of out other next happy owner of this material. Cheers from just the center of Colombia and, Merry Christmas.
