original live version of Dogs?
hi!
does anyone have the 'original live version' of Dogs from way back before 9 was released? according to the user "mestonf", he really favoured this version instead of the studio version: "All of them are bloody awesome. Though, in comparison to the original live version of 'the girl who does yoga,' I think the studio version is less intensive. What made the live version was his fast guitar strumming. It just doesn't seem to have the same effect on me. Nevertheless, it's just amazing.................absolutely love it!" the user "mestonf" hasn't been online at the forum since 2009, so i guess it would be pointless to ask him about this version. anyone who knows which show this first version appeared at?

i agree, this first live version was not notably different from the studio version.
the only time i heard louder guitar playing on the live version was at the bridge ("And she's always dressed in white"), but overall it was still very similar to the studio version.

i also hava a version named "the girl that does yoga", but it´s in my misc folder, so i don´t know when nor where he sang it. it´s quite similar to the manchester version, excpet for the bridge, when he sings "leaves me standing still"... and he says "this doesn´t have a name yet" (or so).
here it is: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NMGRF9XE i love the "and she moves like a little girl, i become a child man, she moves my world" line...
