Just "Nebraska". Its a Bruce Sprinsteen album. He recorded it almost solo in his bedroom on a 4 track. Really great songs.

sounds pretty good, really...usually i'm no springsteen fan because i find his work a bit too 'polished' (does that make sense in english?), but maybe i'd actually like this one.... thanks, #ian#!

Yeah, it does. I really don't like his stuff from Born in the USA on. Really overblown production. Some of the songs on the tunnel of love album are really good but have horrible synths and stuff on them.
Nebraska is one of my all time favourite albums. Just him, an acoustic guitar, a bit of mandolin (sp?) and a harmonica. Fantastic songs. I don't think anyone writes better "story" songs than he does.

Welcome! Isn't Omaha a nice whistle-stop? Never been to, just my imagination from what I've read...
Yeah, have that Springsteen album, too. One of his newer songs is "Lonesome day", which is really pleasant, I love it, brings me always in a good mood. |
