Damien does seem a little too "indie" for an iPOD. But it's all good. I want one but don't feel like shelling out the money for one. A friend of mine has one and swears by it. And after hearing the story of Damien stopping two songs because of the crowd acting like fools, I was a little afraid to go see him last night. But the crowd was pretty good. There was one guy that would whistle really loud (like with his fingers) at totally unnecessary times but other than that, they were pretty considerate. I just don't think they should serve alcohol at small venues like that. In a stadium, one asshole isn't going to make much of a difference but in something small like the Beacon Theatre, you can hear the bastards good.
