Hey Fred i know John Spillane hes great saw him this year in NUIGalway Arts Festival hes great craic altogether, but im afraid I dont like Damien Dempsey not my thing :,- )

Yeah he's pretty good alright from what I've heard. He always plays in or around UCC but I've never caught a full show, only a couple of songs each time. Must change that when I go back. To be honest, I haven't heard much of Damien Dempsey myself only what I've listened to on the net. I'd say I could listen to him though, especially live.

Fred, if you can, see if you can watch a copy of Damien Dempsey's 'Other Voices' episode. Shows him at his best, I think (and local fans agree.)

it takes a while to get into himi think... i was judging him by Damien Rice standards as i usually do with artists so he failed at the singing and his rhymes were pathetic when i heard them for the first time live... but theres just something special about him and after a good few listens it totally grows on u<img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley1.gif">

i only have 1 called "marching" and i dont think its very good... id love to get my hands on some bootlegs tho or his first album as well
