I thought it was great for awhile and then it got annoying and then at the end it got a little better.

Hate to be a decenter here, but I will.
At the beginning, I thought; wow, amazing, fantastic, etc. But then there were parts in the song where the backing oos and ahhs and such drowned out the leads voice singing the actual verses. Or, so I thought. Also, his voice was different; very un-Damoish, which I really thought was cool. But I thought that the backing could have been much softer and less emphasized. Aside from that, I liked it! Haha...and quite an interesting concept.

I agree with unspokenanswer about the lead vocal being drowned out at times - I think that's probably just a case of this recording being a demo, though. As such it probably wasn't professionally recorded or produced or anything, so the levels will be a bit out. Other than that I really love it Great covers should either be a marked improvement on the original, or do something new with the material. I don't think that Plead the Fifth do the former, but they certainly do the latter in some style. For some reason it makes me feel very festive...
