so um..yes..new you most certainly are and for that reason there are some basic things you should know

1) tapers have lives besides editing/tracking/releasing the recording of a show you were at. they have friends, beers, parties, school, work, trips from the US to italy (is this just me? lol), etc. they are not paid and often put a LOT of their own money into being able to record for people like you. i'm a taper and my rig at the present time costs about $500, it will be more soon. on top of that, it typically takes about 3 hours or so to fix up a show (in my experience often more with damien recordings because of the extreme levels of volume, high and low).because of these and other reasons it is kindly asked that you refrain from making requests like this until at least 2 weeks following the date of a show unless you see a taper talk about it or someone else mention they already have the show.

2)if you look around the forum there are already some threads that have some info relating to this. try and at least browse through the first page before making similar topics if possible.

3)if that ^ sounds rude, sorry. i didn't mean it that way. i just tend to dish out this response a lot. be glad you didn't post this on a dave matthews or similar artist's message board

4) please don't make a fool of yourself and grovel for shows it's not needed and bumping posts like this will only annoy other users. Edited by: AllThatLies

you can liten to the interview on real or media player, just pick 56K or broadband option. you should listen to the interview, but puts on the voice of an alabama minster
