Marti you shouldn't need a review. It was incredibly awesome duh!
But really I have no words. The gig was great, the boys seemed to be having a lot of fun, and Glen was rocking that guitar like nobody's business. The audience was chatty at times but very energetic and singing along to all the songs, so that was great! (At least I was) They didn't play Fitzcarraldo (sad), but whatever Seven Day Mile was soo amazing it totally makes up for it. And the Heyday cover at the end was also incredibly awesome. Anyways, setlist was posted already. I don't have any pictures but you can find some here. I also don't have any video but Heyday is here and here, a ****ty recording of Star Star, People All Get Ready, Lay me down, Disappointed, Finally, What Happens When the Heart Just Stops, and Rise with Marketa in which you get to experience the weirdos in the back chanting as if its a soccer match. Sharmin has pictures and I believe she recorded the new song sung by Joe. So that's something to look forward to :-)

^that set list looks very familier to what he played in Seattle last night.. and holy **** was it a long one and it was ****ing awesome!
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-fr...a-3d2ad47.html Pretty accurate from my memory. 1. Headlong 2. Seven Day Mile 3. God Bless Mom 4. The Stars Are Underground 5. What Happens When the Heart Just Stops / Caravan 6. Finally 7. Happy 8. Lay Me Down 9. Rent Day Blues 10. Pavement Tune 11. Underglass 12. Star Star (Teases of Pure Imagination & Hotellounge) 13. Revelate 14. Friends and Foe 15. People Get Ready ------------ Encore 1 ------------ 16. Guest Performer Dillon Warnek (He arrived a night early in Seattle and went to a bar (Owl & Thistle) with the band and they saw a man playing music at the bar. They loved him and talked to him after his set. He's under 21 and the kid knew exactly who Glen was and was blown away by the opportunity to not only meet and have Glen and the band listen to him sing but Glen invited him to also play a song live for a local audience that absolutely gave him a huge warm welcome! It was a special moment for sure. He was really good too! He took the stage for the first song of the encore and it was pretty ballsy for him to do that especially since he was singing on his own but he did fantastic!) 17. Perfect Opening Line / Billie Jean (Girl from crowd was chosen to sing the chorus because Glen said he doesn't know the lyrics and they were stuck and couldn't end the song. So he asked the audience if anyone knows the lyrics and he gave the mic to a girl who at least had a bit of a voice and they ended it with her singing the chorus. It was pretty random. haha) 18. Santa Maria ------------ Encore 2 ------------ 19. Disappointed (Glen solo) 20. Hollocaine 21. New Song (Joe on vocals. When they played this song they said they've been fooling around with it but my god was it good. It was a mellow song but it felt deep... if that makes any sense. haha. Everyone was drawn into it and quiet. It was pretty special.) 22. When Your Heart's Not In It Babe (New Song. It was more of a jazzy feeling to it and it was awesome! I loved it!) 24. Fitzcarraldo 25. Monument I got more to talk about when I get home but I gotta go right now! It was a f**king amazing night though!!! Wow! More later tonight! Cheers! Edit: Alright I'm back. So! The show was amazing like I said! He just did not want to stop playing! And to be quite honest I don't know why because I didn't think the crowd was very deserving of The Frames awesomeness. I was a little bit to the left of center stage and 4 rows back of people (it was General Admission and it was an open dance floor pretty much) and pretty much the first few rows on the left side were going crazy jumping and loving it and the right side of the audience was just standing still blindly starring. When asked to sing I felt it wasn't very good. People in general were there because they knew The Swell Season or Once as people didn't know the lyrics. But that's enough of a rant from me about the Audience. They stuck around after the first encore to get the second encore which made me happy and some of them requested some songs I didn't think they'd try to request like Hey Day so that made me happy too. When they played "People Get Ready" he said he hurt himself and I assumed it was during Revelate but he was still sounded fine to me. Especially when he sang Monument which for me was one of the best ways to end it. I wanted to stick around after the gig and meet him and the band but I had to drive back to Vancouver that night and it was about 12:30 when he finally finished his second encore of 6 songs! I expected maybe one song for the second Encore and not 2 new songs! All in all It was a long day waking up at 4:30 to go down to the states on Black Friday but It was worth it and it was amazing! <3

^ Sounds amazing! And so generous of them to let the guest performer have a song at the end of the show, instead of just giving him an opening slot.

at the concert in portland someone yelled something about Him doing swell season songs or that they are better ? Glen was not amused, ha! he said "I am in two bands, and This Is THE FRAMES!" lol.. He did zero Swell season songs. ! :-) but it was amazing. Very much like the seattle set list!

OK, here's the report from last night's Pragua gig.
The first supporting act was Duke Special, who was surprisingly good (I don't generally like his stuff), even if he has the most annoying hair in the music industry. He did some sing-alongs and even took a stroll among the audience. Then some Czech band came, whcih was the stranges **** ever. They weren't bad, just very-very weird. The Frames were really good. Not as energetic as they were at the Picnic, but that would be hard to top. They played every important song, with the sole exception of Red Chord, and seemed to have been enjoying themselves. Afterwards there was some kind of after-gig reception, whose security became somewhat lax at the end so I could head in and have a few words with Glen and say "O HAI" to Colm as Gaeilge. The audience, on the other hand, was getting on my nerves. They were just so immobile. Rock concerts should feature, at least in the first few rows, a reasonable amount of jumping, pushing, shouting and waving. Here, everyone was just standing cross-armed and nodding rhythmically, and taking pictures (BTW, is it rude to tell the guy in front of you that he has no idea of composition and give him some advice on how to take decent pictures? The urge was very hard to resist) and quietly singing to themselves. The first three rows were completely static, only in the fourth were three people (A German, a Belgian (A Belgian, of all people! WTF???) and myself) who acted in a genre-appropriate manner. Czechs, I am disappoint. Especially when compared to the insane fun I had at the Picnic. Here's the setlist (if I remember things correctly): Headlong Giving me Wings Seven Day Mile God Bless Mom/Autobahn Stars are Underground What Happens When the Heart Just Stops/Caravan/Maybe something else Finally Happy Lay Me Down (Two kids, who had the skeleton masks were invited to sit on the stage) Rhinestone Cowboy Rent a Day Blues Pavement Tune Star Star/Pure Imagination/Hotellounge Revelate Your Face/Redemption Song (partly with vocals from a girl from the audience) Underglass Santa Maria Disappointed Joey's song Fitzcarraldo (after some pleading from myself, the Belgian and some other random guy) Monument Heyday Edit: here's a video of Your Face
