This song was played at Brooklyn in December, and is not known to have a name.

Thanks neil_eats. I just borrowed / stole it and it sounds great. Unfortunately it saved as an mp3 instead of an mpga so I can't burn it. What have I done now? Where did you get it? Was it played at one of the UK gigs? |

I mean, of course, that it saved as an mpga instead of an mp3. |

sorry, but i dont see the problem we've been down this road before. converting and sharing one track isnt a problem i havent completely ruining the whole thing. theres not a mp3 version of this show just that track. i personally converted it in order to find out the track name and let people hear a good unreleased damien song. im very sorry if breaking the code has offended you but i didnt see any destroying aspect in my actions just good nature in sharing rare songs. people who read these threads are die hard fans who will buy every album and single released by damien but some dont have broadband or the knowledge of how to use ur ftp server which u kindly set up for us all, so i like to give people a taste of what they are missing. if you really feel what i have done is wrong u have the password to the briefcase you can delete the files from there. |

Okay. I was under the impression you had the whole show up there.
I have no problem with the one track, it's cool. |

Thank you neil_eats. You have no idea what your efforts mean to the computer-challenged fans like me who couldn't otherwise hear the stuff that isn't on 'O'.

A proper name? I think "F**k you" is a great name. It kind of suits the sentiment of the song. Why am I using f**king asterisks? Is it required? It makes the whole thing too ambiguous. There is a big difference between a Father Jack-like *ec* and a Damien Rice-style *uc*. This song is definitely a *uc* song.

neil_eats, Thank you so much for your briefcase! I've been unable to get the ftp servers to work everytime I've tried and have been dying to hear some of the stuffyou had on there! I understand that you periodically rotate the files. So I have a question/request. I know I'm not alone (having searched the forums) in still not being able to find mp3's of "Front Door", "Boring Afternoon", "Lazy Situation", "Wooden Horse", "What Do You Know About Love?" and "Wooden Horse". Since I just found out aboutyour briefcase I'm unaware as to whether or not these songs had been previously rotated already. If they haven't may I request that (if you have them of course)the next rotation include a few of them? I don't know how often you rotate the fileseither so I'm sorry if I'm asking you prematurely. If they have already been on there thenis there any way someone who has any of them can help me out? I've checked damienrice.co.uk and all the other sites I could find but to no avail (maybe they rotate too?). But if someone knows other siteswhere any of the handful I'velisted can be found could you please let me know? Thanks! |

Thanks Neil for posting "Wooden Horse". I realized I'd accidentally typed it twice andit wasn't my way of saying it was my top priority (that would be hearing Front Door) but I'm extremely grateful! Highly looking forward to hearing "Sex Change" now too, though I had heard very little about it...Edited by: Spamlet |
