I don't think it's hard to regulate at all. When you send out your email, state your rules... and if everyone reads this http://www.mcnichol.com/bnp/it will do everyone a favor and keep the quality up. There wasa complaint earlier about the cost of postage... sleeves are lighter than jewel cases. Hence why they're cheaper to mail. Just trying to help and hope to be involved. thanks |

I can say that Latvian post is pretty cheap. 5 CDs for 4 euro.

I agree with almost everything you say, but we need to take babysteps. Read my "Tapers: Starting an FTP" Thread. You're looking to leap from 0 to 60 right away, when we need to walk slowly along the road to high standards. I mean, look how many people in this thread are new to the idea of a tree. And I've gotten atleast a dozen emails either asking me to explain it again, or offering to paypal me money for my effort, etc etc |

I was trying not to be that complicated for the first tree. How many are some? The end of the tree will be all leaves, so Im sure I have atleast 8 spaces open for that. I have one girl reserved for their because she'll be in Africa or something till decemeber so we are just gonna have it sent to her to pick up when she gets back. Okay, tell them they be in, just email me and make a note of that, and I'll set them up that way. (I forgot that burners aren't that common over there yet. Here in the states we're just short of having standard CD and DVD burners in a computer.) |

My hunch is a lot of people have *broken* burners they are not replacing. Happened to me, too, on my last computer. I now have two burners! So, there'll be 7 leaves left. Okey, dokey. |

I created the tree last evening. Im awaiting email responses from a few people whom I have incomplete info from. The offer is still open to anyone who wants to jump in. I will post again when its completely closed.
Who is the administrator here? I want to put the tree up somewhere on this page. |

The tree structure has been set. It is posted here:
www.insidewantsout.com/tree Some rules: - The first copies are going out from me tomorrow. Please allow five days for each level of the tree to complete. That means if you are third level, please don't ask where your copy is until two weeks from now. - If you don't get a copy of the show in a reasonable time (as stated above) please contact the person above you in the tree. Don't contact me unless there is a major problem, as I won't have any control over this after I go to the post office tomorrow. - Please do not contact the website owner where the tree is posted. Hayden is a taper in the US who is a friend of mine, and is merely providing the webspace for the tree. He has nothing to do with it. - I am sending out the show in wav. Do not convert the show into any other format before passing it along. Please make exact copies, ie: keep it DAO. - Please take care when mailing out shows. They should be sent in a sleeve, not a jewel case, and mailed in a padded envelope. Last, I have attached to this email is the info file for the show. It contains the source info and the setlist. Mario damien rice 2003-09-10 Theater of living arts Philadelphia, Pa taper: Pat nobles (pnobles@udel.edu) source: ADK GC-1 > UA-5 > TCD-D8 mics clamped to the balcony, 10 feet DFC. DO NOT CONVERT TO MP3 set list The Professor> La Fille Danse Delicate Woman Like a Man Cold Water> Hallelujah(L. Cohen) Volcano Purple Haze * (J. Hendrix) Me, My Yoke & I Amie> Blower's Daughter Part II Cannonball Prague> Cheers Darlin' Faces Eskimo Encore: Childish Stand By Me ** (B. E. King) Famous Blue Raincoat (L. Cohen) Blower's Daughter -> *** Creep -> *** (Radiohead) Blower's Daughter (reprise) I Remember * Vyvienne solo ** w/ the "Bear" & Rachel Yamagata *** w/Joel Shearer notes - levels rang from really low to really high...thats just the way the show was on the PA...
