Vocalists frequently put h's at the beginning of sung words that begin with vowels. It's a breath thing.
You've been quite the h8er this week.

No no no no no.
This is everything 9 Crimes isn't to me, again. I think I'm just gonna replace the album version in my media player with the Norway sessions version, then never listen to another version again. Just my opinion though... |

Wow did you hear this version of 9 Crimes!! It's like the 9 Crimes REMIX!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously!!!
I like ALL versions of 9 Crimes, all have something nice. I love the album version, so beautiful, especially the first minute with just Lisa is beyond words. Then, I also like the one he did in Norway... and again i liked the REMIX version they did today with the full band and being more upbeat. They should have done a studio version like the one they did today and put it on the b-side as the 9 Crimes remix!! |

is it just me or are some too dependent on the acoustic guitar when it comes to damien's music? its personal taste, I KNOW....but still...
anyways, im just in a bad mood. don't listen to me. |

But seriously, it's not a case of too dependant on acoustic, I love MMY&I and I love Rootless Tree, so I can assure you that's not what it is. It's just a personal preference on that one song, for me -personally- it's not the kinda feel I associate with it. Hope your mood improves, take it the potentially good or bad thing you were waiting for earlier went bad? |

I prefer 9 crimes played with guitar and, usually, without Lisa singing the first verses... but yesterday she did amazingly well, so I may just say that I prefer 9 crimes played with guitar and delete the part regarding Lisa...
