Are these Damien songs?
I found a bunch of songs here that were labeled as Damien Rice and I'm really not sure if they are damien songs...I couldn't find info on them anywhere in the site, maybe some of you guys can help! maybe some of these are covers??
here's the ones in particular: Never been in this place before Never (really questioning this one, doesn't really sound like damien...) Closer Oh Lord won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz (sound like this one could be lisa) Talking about a revolution What the night is for glory box Thanks guys!

"Never Been In This Place Before" is "What The Night Is For", and it's a Damien song.
Damien sang "Never" when he was in Juniper, and it's since been released by Bell X1. Closer is a Damien song, and the rest are covers...

i did some research for the ones i questioned, and some of them are obvious they are covers.. but a few i'm still unsure of, but i can tell u what i know... Never been in this place before = What the night is for = yes it is damien rice, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMh-l41K5bw Never (really questioning this one, doesn't really sound like damien...) Never is a song he did in Juniper with his juniper band, it is damien on vocals... however, i do think it is a cover by juniper, not sure who the orignal is... he also has done this song with Gemma Hayes Closer This is a song that i'm not to sure about, but i'm fairly sure it is damien rice and lisa, it is most likely a cover and for a certain cause... Oh Lord won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz (sound like this one could be lisa) Yes it is lisa, it's a cover as well... Talking about a revolution cover glory box it has been answered! cover! |

hi colin

yeah never is a juniper original, not a cover. it evolved into eve, the apple of my eye for bellx1 and cold water for damien. i think that was a live gig where they performed it with gemma hayes. i always thought it sounded like damien and paul were fighting over gemma by trying to outdo each other on vocals it always amused me there is a cover in that version, "you were always on my mind" by willie nelson |
