He's selling them in proper shops? If e is then I hope they come with track listings, because then I'd buy it all over again.

The lot of us sure like a lot of the same musicians; Damien, Jack, Sufjan, Jeff, Radiohead... how boring.

Scrobbler is funny that way. Not "ha-ha" funny, but it'll have to do. The total # of tracks played has been disappearing from people's pages on and off for a few days now too.

Haha, he's your buddy not mine, remember? He appeared on my neighbours list and I was somewhat surprised to see that he somehow (seemingly) knew both you and Sue (who also never heard of him). Never so much as exchanged a word with the guy myself.

I need scrobbler help! I downloaded the Last.FM player and joined the group. I then downloaded AudioScrobbler to monitor what I play in Windows Media Player. The Scrobbler site said that upon opening Windows Media Player after downloading Scrobbler I would be presented with a config dialog and I should enter a username and password to ensure that Scrobbler is working, then it would start to monitor what I play. But I opened Windows Media Player and was never presented with the dialog. So I reinstalled Scrobbler and tried it again, but still nothing. Anyone have any ideas? Or know how I can manually configure and do what the dialog is supposed to do? I know the Scrobbler plugin downloaded successfully because it's in my Windows Media Player plugins folder. But I don't know how to make it work.
Edit: Ahhhhh, so I can't use Scrobbler with a really old version of WMP! I guess that's what happens when you habitually ignore the little Windows updates reminders that pop up every month or so. Problem solved. I downloaded version 10 of WMP and now Scrobbler is working. But thanks anyway!...errr...for your would-have-been help

just had a couple of days of not subscribing, then the scrobbler messed up some things in my profile, so now they gave a me a free 30 days subscribtion - ahhh, nice!
they did feck up quite a bit though; for a while it didn't even recognize my login and password, so i tried to reset password so many times i'm not sure if my iscrobbler works anymore ooh, the joy of beta versions

you dl this plugin for whaterever player you're using (ie winamp, windows media player, iscrobbler, etc) to play whatever hardcore metal punk you're playing (ie Rufus Wainwright) - the plugin then submits tracks and artists to your personal user's page (ie http://www.last.fm/user/cillecille ), thus showing the world what you listen to AND linking to pages of the tracks and artists you listen to (ie http://www.last.fm/music/Rufus+Wainwright ) and you can join groups with people who have similar taste to you (ie http://www.last.fm/group/Eskimo%2BFriends ) - this way you can listen to what users w similar taste ALSO listen (via the fm.radio feature)to and discuss stuff.
i didn't make it sound too simple did i? maybe the scrobbler/last.fm people do it better: http://www.last.fm/
