Default Festival set lenght?

I was a bit worried the other day when at Coachella they just played for 20 min... Is it normal? What's the average set lenght in a festival??? Sure it's mroe than that...isn't it??

I'm seeing him later in the year at Werchter, and I was hoping for a longer set...

Headliners usually get 1 hour and 1/2 at a festival.
Support like Damien for Coachella usually get 45 to an hour.

Apparently another band before Damien ran 40 minutes late, causing Damien's set to be cut short.

Thanks, I'm sorta relieved festival sets are >20 min long

So it was not Damien's fault at Coachella... why was he the one who had to cut his set short??? the organization could have delayed everything by 20 min... or is there a curfew at festivals???

I think with the festivals i've been to, if one act over-runs... the whole thing is delayed, but no act has to cut their short - or at least that''s how it was at leeds i think? although im not totally sure, i have to say.

Either way, the last few bands always seem to play for as long as they had originally planned. And you can bet damo would have played to the maximum time allowed!
