So I was reading an article and it inspired me to write this thread. What are your favorite 5 songs with a womans name in the title:

1. Visions of Johana- Bob Dylan

2. Maria- Martin Sexton

3. Cecelia- Paul Simon

4. Isabelle- Ray LaMantagne

5. Amie- Damien Rice

that's trickier than i thought it would be:

simon and garfunkel - cecillia
the tories - gladys kravitz
langhorne slim - mary
ben folds - zak and sara (or maybe kate. or carrying cathy - he likes using names in his song titles)
nirvana - polly

i wouldn't say this the ultimate list, but of the songs i could think of, these are at the top of the list.

cecilia's a popular girl so i won't repeat, but she's right up there

the rolling stones - angie
allman brothers - melissa
the kinks - lola
crosby, stills and nash - suite judy blue eyes
the beatles - dear prudence

i have to throw in aubrey by bread (i wore a groove in the album listening to that one when i was 12)

also donnie iris - ah! leah! me and the girls used to ride around in the car with that one up full blast in high school
