Yeah i ended up going both days just for the pure madness... it was really well set up and some great bands... of the ones i bothered staying to see - 8Ball were probably the big suprise as id heard of them but not heard them... Woodstar were great as were Bekeley and Turn... Nina hynes was brilliant and very cool as well...Listo were actually quite good, ive only heard a few of them play at a few parties so it was good to hear to full band...Hailte were class and the only band who actually played they're popular songs! really nice lads as well and if ur going to slane your in for a treat! All in all i cant really remember much of the bands, the projections (the Del 9) were superb and the drinks at the bar really sucked "Becketts Dublin Larger" Ask me arse!!

Ha ha! Never even heard of that larger! Sounds lovely though!!!! My exams dont clash with Slane, but my work shif does. I have to take time off for the exams and the days before ao i dont know if they'll let me take off days for the gig. Im not telling them its for Slane obviously! But there reluctant to let me have so much time off seeing that the reason i was hired was to fill in for people over the holidays! So its up in the air. But i'll go f*cking mad if i've to sell my ticket!!!!<img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley7.gif">

Harold Holt were by far the worst band there... no offence to the lads but they could really use a bit of guitar lessons and a new singer... oh and covering "bosco" is a big no no!
