Paddy Casey - Album No:2
Those awaiting Paddy Casey’s follow-up to 1999’s ‘Amen (So Be It)’ will be glad to hear that the Dublin singer’s second album is due for an imminent release.

Casey showcased some of the new songs at this year’s Witnness festival, where he was said to have been delighted with the audience’s reaction to the new material.

The track 'Family Tree' is still available for download at Paddy's official site: color=#0000ffhttp://www.paddycasey.com/

they keep saying "imminent release" but they never actually do anything about it! its so annoying<img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley6.gif">

When I met him at witnness he said he just finished recording the day before and he hopes the album will be out in Autumn <img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley4.gif">

Hi guys, I'm not sure if ye already know about this site, but there's some Paddy Casey stuffthere. The "Whatever gets U on the radio" stuff is esp. good and his cover of "Sarah".I came across it when I was looking for some Mic Cristopher stuff.

Im sorry lads but I find Paddy has a serious attitude problem. Saw him in the Savoy and was not impressed by his constant sour face and nonappreciation to the great fans. Witness was good, but as previously stated what he did was a bit childish. i know ye are true supporters of Paddy and wont be harsh on the fella. I always liked hismusic but I find certain flaws in it. His songs are very short and you see him stretching thesongs to repeating alot of his lyrics. Im sorry but that is how I feel. I dont think he isin a position toput off a crowd like that at Witness. The place was going ape for Sweet Suburban and he wouldnt play it after asking. Really pissed me off and im beginning to admire the guy less and less. His record company are having problems with him aswell and have been for ages. He thinks hes gods gift to musicand is showing his real self as a result

Dont know that much about him to say that he has an attitude problem. Only gig i saw of his was at Witnness'03 so i've no idea what he was like at the smaller gigs. But thats the first time i've hearda comment like that said about him.

I can see your point about him repeating the lyrics. And i was pissed off a bit that he asked what song we wanted to hear and when everyone shouted for 'Sweet Suburban Sky', but he did have a point that he'd have to ask the other band members to leave the stage, and it was the last song so...

Dont know if that makes him have an attitude problem though

I've never heard anyone else saying he has an attitude problem.He managed to stall for a photo at witnness about 20 minutes before he was due on satage with me and a friend,and waved to us after the gig when he walked passed us.I think everyone was pissed off about SweetSS,but he just didnt want to send the band off.As for his songs,I love them and if he repeats I just havent noticed because its probably just giving more emphasis.

I saw himwithout a bandin Cork before. About halfway through, he said "Thisnext song is Rainwater" but played the intro to Sweet SS by mistake(I think) and everyone cheered so he had to play it!He said: "Fu*k, I was gonna play that last"!

Then when it came to his last song, he asked the crowd did we wanna hear Rainwater or "No Diggity" I was a bit miffed when the majority cheered for No Diggity cos I love Rainwater, but it turned out to be pretty good.

Sorry for kinda wandering off the point a bitthere!!<img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley9.gif">In other words, he seemed pretty obliging that day. He probably just wanted the band to be part of the last song at Witnness....What did he play last btw??

first time i met him he was an arogant sh*te... and from what ive heard of other people they got that impression but i met him at witnness and he was actually really sound and remembered me from working in whelan's...

See IM not too long listening to Paddys music and have only about 12 songs, all bootlegs and mp3's. His album is one im gonnago out and get when iget my next pay check! Monthly pay sucks!!
