She's cancelled from Lisdoonvarna which is such a bummer cos it doesnt look like they are adding anyone good to the bill to replace her Saw her in Whelans last year on September 11th and she was mindblowing... also saw her at witnness and she is soooo hot

But with regard to Gemma make no mistake, I'd hit it |

It annoys me to hear people saying Lisdoonvarna is gonna be sh*t cos its in Dublin. If they called it something else people would be flocking to see all those acts on the one day. But because its called Lisdoonvarna everyones coming out with all this bullsh*t that it wont be the same and sh*t. Phucking ar*eholes! We're getting another class rock festival this summer. Whats the problem??????

I dont see why they call it lisdoonvarna because it has absolutely nothing to do with the place now, thats what annoys me.The sad thing is its still gonna be fantastic.

Daragh, I see your point, "BUT I STILL THINK YOU'RE FULL OF SH*T"....nah obviously, I'm just kidding That's just one of my favourite things to say!
I can see you're point..it's definitely another great concert but if I had been home this summer I would definitely prefer to go to Lisdoon...People down in Munster have got a raw deal on concerts, ever since Feile fizzled out..Its not just good concerts either its GAA/soccer/rugby games etc too. 6 hours on the train is a pain in the ass.. |

I totally agree with you! Lisdoonvarna should have been held in its usuall place!! But my point is now that its in Dublin, why are people being negative about it? Whould they prefer it wasnt on at all??? As far as the sports goes, i agree also. But with a stadium like Croke Park, it wouldbe stupid to hold the "big" matches in asmaller capacity venue!I think there should be a major revamp of Semple stadium!Obviously not to the same level as Croke Park, but to hold those games were the "faithfull" supporters couldnt be arsed travelling! Getting back to Lisdoonvarna, who is to blame for it not being held there this year??? Thats the problem! The same with Feile! They werent stopped because people in Dublin werent travelling to them! It was the locals. Maybe thats down to bad organisation on the promoters part, i dont know.

Yeah, agreed....Its definitely gonna be class and if I was at home I'd still go to Dublin...
Of course that's the reason for having all the sporting events in Dublin...its to be expected. I was bitching and was on a roll! That train, (especially on All-Ireland day, for example) IS a savage pain in the arse though!! |

Hey!Dont blame the locals!Being a clare person myself there was just as many people approving the gig than those giving out!Sh*tty clare county council! The closest thing we have to proper entertainment here is Willy Clancy week with all the didly idly music, which is a laugh.
