Oh that! Ha! I thought one of two things - either it's some inside joke on the forum that newbies are missing out on ( ), or we're talking about muffins and brownies that make us feel happy.
But no, I'm not a gaming person. That was the furthest thing from my mind actually.

^^^No worries, I have a habit of speaking in a cryptic fashion.
But when deciding between Portal and brownies/muffins, it is a hard choice, both are perfect in their own respective fields. Though the latter involves chocolate which tips the balance slightly towards the sweets.

Even after hearing it for at least the third time, I still can' get my head around the fact that there can be people who don't like chocolate.

That might explain this strange phenomenon. Though aliens should be a more developed and more intelligent species, and such rational guys should surely acknowledge the awesomeness of chocolate.

I thought the cakes don't lie thing was a reference to Emily Dickinson? I don't even know what portal is. Does that mean I'm old?

^ Hmmm, I would think that knowing that the cakes don't lie thing is a reference to Emily Dickinson would make me a nerd, whereas knowing it is a Portal reference would make you a geek??

I think we should rename this thread.
The "talk about everything and anything and nothing all at once" thread.

Hello there! Nice of you to pop in at this thread.
Oh. I don't quite recall how we got onto that topic! But I believe Rai could possibly shed some light on that, no? Anyway, it's two o'clock in the morning in my corner of the globe; it's way past my late-night snack time, so mention of muffins and brownies are making me peckish!!!!
