if anyone knows for definate could they let me know!

that looks like an old school radio mic or something..

from the 50's maybe? has a motown sort of vibe..

The Shure 55 series was the first thing I thought of when seeing that picture too. The latest model in the line is the 55SH Series II - not sure how important those niggly little letters after the model number are to you...

cheers i think it was either the Shure Unidyne 55s or shure 55 c big elvis

both are very similar
