Rootless Tree, live@KCRW, score

As a few people seemed interested I've started work on the score for this song as per the live performance at KCRW. I decided I'd try and transcribe the voice too for this song which I'm not particularly good at doing. I believe I have the piano right for the first verse/chorus and the vocals seem right (ish?), but I thought I'd post an audio clip of what I've done so far to see what you guys think. If there's any mistakes please let me know and I'll fix them before doing the rest of the song (which has lots of repeated sections, so makes sense to try and get it right before adding repeats).

i've been lurking on here for some time now but i had to come to out say THANK YOU!!! It sounds perfect, i just can't thank you enough first nine crimes and AB and now this!!! it's brilliant!!!

Ah good, I've tweaked a couple of notes very slightly, Damien quiet often comes in right at the end of the bar where as I was transcribing him as coming in at the beginning of the next. Anyway that's fixed now. I've finished the vocal line for the rest of the song now and added lyrics. Just need to get the piano finished up then I'll post it here.

By the way, Emmett kindly agreed to host my first two transcriptions on this website, so if you browse to the 'tabs' section you'll find them there (I hope that this one will end up there too).

Feedback is much appreciated, unless anyone finds any problems with this I'll email Emmett next week and ask him to add it to the collection of tab's on site. It's my first transcription which includes the vocal melody and lyrics too, I've tried to make it appear the same as it would in an official tab book, hopefully I've got it roughly right.

Thanks so much for these! i cant play guitar, so its great to have some Damo to play on piano (not that my piano playings much better!)

You're both welcome, I'm glad you like them. Of course I'm only transcribing them, Damien Rice is the real person that deserves thanking for writing the songs in the first place.

Haven't had any complaints so far so I'll try and get this latest tab uploaded to the site on Monday.
