Ciaociao! P.S. Sorry for all the ones here who do not get a word of what we're talking about, It's seems quite unfair to speak Italian in a place like this but we've just fuond out there's a small italian colony here, so maybe this is going to become our "national" thread... Apologies to everyone |

Fine by me! It is quite surprising how many of you there are when gathered all in one place - nice!
Now where's my danish fan community..?

Opinione personale ovviamente.

Seems this thread is changing into something else, and most of the informations available at the moment about the gig Damien Rice's going to play in Milan next March 18th have been posted here and hopefully will be updated as soon as some of us catches something new.
I've posted it in English, because maybe it can be useful to some non-italian speaking people who are interested in coming to the show or whatelse, maybe it's been done yet but I haven't read it so I apologise if I'm repeating. The gig will be at the Sala Verdi, a concert hall in the Milan Conservatory. The venue should have a superb acoustic, and it will fit perfectly Damien's kind of music in my opinion. You can see a picture of the hall a couple of posts above. I have contacted the Sala Verdi management and they told me they didn't have anything confirmed yet because the whole thing will be organised by ticketone (www.ticketone.it), the biggest events promoting agent for Italian shows. They weren't able to tell me if we'll get numbered sits or if you buy a normal ticket and the entry and sitting will be on a first come first base. The hall contains around 2500 people, tickets will be on sale on dec 2nd. That's all by now. |

(Hi to all Italian Eskimo Friends! I am from Bologna and I don't write on this forum that much anymore, but maybe somebody could remember me as the guy who recorded Milano 2003 and Bologna 2004.
Unfortunately I'm afraid I won't be able to be at the Sala Verdi because hopefully I will get my degree those days, but I hope to have some other chances! By the way, did someone have news about the Zelig showcase?) (Cille, congratulations for your italian!)

Grazie!

are you guys talking about having an italian-only thread? (i'm trying to use a firefox translator now on some things) i think that would be fine, they made an english-only thread for us over at damien rice brasil, and i thought it was very nice (go over and visit eskimos, they're very warm and welcoming there!) that way you could share info about gigs and stuff without having to switch to an unfamiliar language (which i recently learned is very difficult) and since there are no italian damien rice sites..
anyway, welcome to to the igloo everyone.. ciao italia |
