Haha, I'm not sure we needed to know the other 99. Personally I would have just taken your word for it :-)

I know maybe twenty of those tunes in the top 100. Wow, am I out of the loop. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to radio-friendly pop and rock and hip hop/r 'n b

It is really depressing to think that a song called "This is Why I'm Hott" is number 1. It shows the quality of taste people have in music today. So much artistry is taken from these silly little songs, made to make money. It's really sad to see America just lapping up all this b.s. Most of those songs are products, made to make money. There are no words to describe how terrible it is that today you are an anamoly if you don't listen to the crap on the radio. Makes me seriously just want slap everyone over the head. The music business has lost so much its credibility over the years, and it's only going faster and faster downhill. alright, sorry guys, rant over.

i agree with you lauren, but behind all the hollywood commercial money making crap, there is real music around. the kind of music that isnt known worldwide and sold to millions of drones, and because of that they are allowed to do what they want, and they are the type of bands that restore my faith in music

an example is the band 'explosions in the sky', its probably some of the most stunning music ive ever heard, and its quite unknown, and i like it that way, they arent doing it for the money or the sales like most people on that list, but they are here for the music, damien rice is also like that, although he has become more of a commercial subject over the years he still hasnt forgotten why he's doing it.

im not sure what my point is, i agree with your view lauren, i guess i am just glad that the bands and music behind the scenes that are keeping the faith in the music industry
