Looks like the UK Ebayers are at it again with the bootlegs:

Im just wondering Why u object?

Some people dont have Torrent systems and stuff or dont have a big enougth computer system to download live shows and things ? They might not have massive memory and everything.

After all, i think what that guy did putting up all those tracks and everything is nice, he rights with passion. We live in Free Market and all.

Just tell me though honestly, why is it wrong? I want to kno

Unfortunately the seller has to choose to show questions posed to them.
I still think it's good to write sellars who sell boots and give a bit of grief.

I think people object to people making money off people who don't know they can get it for free... there are many who would burn the shows onto cd and post it free to anyone who's pc isn't that great...

The bottom line for me is that no one but the artist (or their designated charity in some cases) should profit from their own recorded music, in live or studio form. Trading (for free or the cost of a blank CD) is how these live shows should get around. Yes? Yes.

what a twat im sorry for saying that i really am. but i felt that it needed to be said. through this site i met with an eskimo at a frames gig. he was kind enough to give me some tom mcrae recordings and then he posted me the frames one too. some people make me sick and some people dont..........

Yeah they do! They profit from the sales of; O, Live at the Union chapel (The only authorized live copy for sale), and B Sides, plus all the singles, the DVD and the limited editions.
The record companies have nothing to do with these bootlegs which are available to trade, through the goodness of eskimo's and other Damien Rice fans!
Buying these things is a rip off, for good people who deserve to have the shows for nothing, or next-to-nothing (Blank CD, postage, that's all)
Thats how I got some of my Damien songs back after my PC was wiped!
And yay! We got rid of that *rude word* selling those copies!

I know.... but sniffer seemed to think that the only people who are entitled to make money are the artists... but retailers aren't going to sell records for nothing.. and record companys aren't going to promote artists for the fun of it!
