Do girls actually do that?
I read something a couple of days ago that made me wonder... when girls listen to sad love songs do they listen as if the song was written for them?
That seems strange to me. (I wouldn't want to be any of the women in Damien's songs for instance.) If I had to choose I'd rather identify with the sad/angry/frustrated singer, I think. But most of the time I just get moved by the raw honesty/emotion in the songs. How about you? Last edited by carrroline; 07-30-2014 at 07:48 AM. |

I agree with you! i usually put myself in the singer's position. There might be a few songs where you do wish that maybe that would have been written for you, but for the most part i just try to identify or understand what the singer is trying to express in his/her lyrics

God, no, I'm always on the singer's perspective
