Anyone familiar with the music of Gravenhurst a.k.a. Nick Talbot?
I bought his second record "Black House In The Sand" yesterday, extremely bleak s/s stuff like Nick Drake when he was having a really bad day. Strangely he's on Warp records (well I think it's strange anyway.)

I listened to his first one online way back then (BBC web site, I think). Sounded kind of interesting, but too samey for a full length album. Have you heard the first one? I wonder how they compare.

I haven't but I might pick it up next weekend. There's a really amazing cover of Husker Du's "Diane" on the second recordwhich I think Therapy? covered as well.
