Damien Rice at Bonnaroo full video now live!
*Fanfare*
Hey guys, for those who missed it, or simply want to watch again! I've uploaded the video of the full set Damien performed at Bonnaroo, you can find it here. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...34221218015243 I'm not entirely sure, but you should be able to also directly download the video from Google, but for now I wanted to get it out so everyone can watch it immediately It's not the best picture quality, but if you watch it in 'original size', it kind of compensates :P Enjoy, my fellow Eskimos!

Thanks a lot! However, to download the video from Google, you have to also download a player (Google Video Player) to view the movies. It would be great if we could eventually be able to download the avi file, so we could make our own DVDs of the performance, watch it when we're offline etc. (Though I appreciate that you wanted to put it up as quickly as possible for us who didn't get to see it.) So hopefully you'll be able to put the avi file on something like a file sharing site too? That would be awesome!

Hehe, sure thing, the original file is an XviD avi, so I'm not sure if it'll need converting or whatever first, as I couldn't get it to play on my sister's PC.. She probably doesn't have the codec. :P
But indeed, I plan to get the file uploaded somewhere in the next few days, it would be nice if we could upload it as a torrent or the suchlike eventually.

But you can also download the video as an avi . That's what I did. You just need to push the Download button on the right side to download it for Video iPot/Sony PSP. I hope that works for you. Anyway, agai thanks for the vid! I watch a part of it. It's really great! |

i can't believe they censored him saying that he was high during the story for What this Night is For if you noticed the pause after "we might've been" his mouth is still moving and he says "we might've been drunk or high or whatever" and a bunch of people cheered

So, is Damien being uncommunicative with the audience a new trend? Or is it unwritten Bonnaroo protocol?
Tomo did a great job at the show. New frontman, eh?

Wow thanks for uploading this. I've never had a recorded show that I was actually at, so this is very cool for me. It was a really good set, but it seemed like viv had a hard time staying in tune... as did damo.... the sun was so damn hot there all weekend. haven't watched the whole thing yet but i'm hoping to find me in the crowd... i was in the front on vyv's side of the stage. not many bands played an encore... he was one of the few... and an extra bit of information... the police only played for 45 mins from what i hear... i didnt go to see them play but from what i heard there were a few angry patrons.

Wow, thanks. Damien seems in such a good mood, which is nice.
"Wheres Lisa!?" *Smile* "She's at home, recording..." Hehe. Really good video, I've never seen a video of him live before, getting really excited about the Marlay Park concert now! |
