A legendary voice - Joni Mitchell

I have listened to Joni Mitchell my whole life and I still wont be able to grasp her musical influence. My dad would play Joni all the time as a kid and it was cool to see that she put out a new record recently. I know she came out of retirment and I was psyched when I picked it up at my umg internship. The music is great since it was mae out of response to the ills of the world. I love Joni Mitchell too!!!! Songs like A Case of You, River, Both Sides Now... She's a legend!!!!

And the other day, it was funny, this music magazine Q had a list of the most influential albums in history. Joni Mitchell was there at #7 (I think) with Blue and they were talking about the honesty in the lyrics and they were saying that this record was a "template for artists like Damien Rice"!!!!!!
