I'm so into the 80's electronic sounds and have recently discovered that there are 80's sounding electronic bands out there...namely Postal Service and The Faint...oh my god they are fantsatic... But I want some more. Anyone have any suggestions? The synthesizer is a good example of integral instruments in the songs.

You just have to listen to The Knife. Swedish experimental pop-band that´s just amazing. Might be hard to get hold of outside Scandinavia though, but check out http://www.rabidrecords.com/for mp3-samples and full-length videos.

You should definitely check out Death Cab for Cutie, another of Ben Gibbard's (of postal Service) bands. Also check out The Dream of Evan and Chan by Dntel (a pre-Postal collaboration) and the Dismemberment Plan.
