A heart that beats as both siphon and reservoir - Jeff Buckley
'A heart that beats as both siphon and reservoir' is not only my favorite line in 'morning theft', but it's also my favorite line written by jeff buckley.
i'm not sure why i like it so much. maybe it's because i like how the words 'siphon' and 'reservoir' sound. to me 'a heart that beats as both siphon and reservoir' is a heart whose one and only function is to keep itself alive, there's no body to feed, it's only a heart that can't even love anymore. i mean the whole song is about a love that couldn't be, i just think this line sums the whole song up. what do you guys think?

without hearing the song, simply reading the lyric you had there i would guess that its someone who changes quickly. loves, and then just as soons quits loving. someone who loves at their whimb.
