Hey, just curious, is anyone goin to see Bic Runga play the Village in March?? I missed her the last time, i'd say it'd be a pretty cool gig*hopes someone will agree*

hey there, i found out about bic runga in 1999. i went to the lilith fair and they handed out free cds. cant remember exactly the song on it but im surprised she hasent gotten big where im at. shes amazing. wish i could see her live, sorry you missed it!

i just saw this beautiful lady play in a record shop. that "get some sleep" is such a good song. and she's pretty handy on the ol' gee-tar aswell.

The radio has been playing her to death for the last few weeks.....heard her a few years ago....and then more recently the first time i head Get Some Sleep was in Dunnes Stores 3 months ago[img]smileys/smiley14.gif[/img]

ok random but i just looked her up on myspace thinking that i had never heard any of her stuff and lo and behold 'sway' comes on and well yes i have heard her before, no idea where but it was long time ago and i've heard that song loads of times, was prob on the telly or something but hmmm yeh i like that one, just had no idea it was her!!

the album that she's releasing, Birds, in Europe was released here 3 months ago. Its quiet good, not as poppy has here older stuff. Saw her in Auckland on the release date where she did the whole album live (+ older tunes) with Tim Finn, Anika Moa and other 'famous' NZ artists.
