Hmm... I actually hate it when artists repackage recently-released CDs as "special editions". Why not just put the new stuff out as a separate EP instead of making people pay for a CD they already own?
Definitely excited for a new album next year though! |

I hate re-packaged albums too, it's a total rip-off x fans who bought the album in the first place... and lately many artists do the Special Edition, then later the Deluxe Special Edition, then later the Deluxe Deluxe Special Edition... Ka-ching...
Actually, how many times was O re-packaged?? Millions

And then, many years down the road, as Lisa becomes more prolific and releases more and more, we'll start seeing anniversary boxed sets of all of her albums. "The masterpiece debut by Lisa Hannigan, specially packaged in a 2 CD, 1 DVD set featuring exclusive liner notes."
Or perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself... If the music stays at the level of Sea Sew, and especially if it continues to improve (which it will), then I'll keep buying. Even at this point I've already purchased the album once on twice on CD and vinyl each. |

Excellent, thanks! There's a certain quality to her voice there that I haven't heard before in any other song. Can't quite place what it is.
As for the deluxe Sea Sew they mentioned... hopefully the live songs are in DVD form, not CD. What would be the point in buying Fingerprints and this, then? |

^What's the point of buying an album you already own?
Oh, and the next person going to a Lisa gig simply HAS to ask her to cover Bohemian Rhapsody.

Thanks for posting, this is really a beautiful version!
Actually, I was so blown away by Lisa's recent performances that I uploaded the mp3 of this performance as well as of Lisa's acoustic version of "Lille" here: http://www.4shared.com/dir/10716713/...a5/Upload.html I figured that it would be ok to upload those songs as they have been released already, albeit not the acoustic versions, but if somebody's not fine with that just let me know and I'll take them off the web again.

I seriously have no idea how Lisa, The Chieftains and The Times They are A-Changing can be combined into something that is not super-weird.

Lisa singing Passenger on Other Voices :
And even if it makes me seem nosy, I'd really like to know who she meant when she said that the song is about having somebody on your mind all the time... :P And two videos of Our Little Secrets supporting Lisa at Vicar Street last December: (you can see Lisa for a short moment at the beginning of the video, as well as Cillian Murphy *drool*) Enjoy!
