Damien Rice, Copenhagen last night. And I was disappointed, but mainly because I was standing in a crowd of clueless swedish teens who cared more about their hair, chatting and recording and photographing with their annoying beeping cameraphones and digicam's than actually listening to the music. I really felt like shoving all those digicams up people's ever-shaded places.. Plus I had a wall of REALLY tall people in front of me - at the beginning of the gig I could actually not see ANY of the musicians on stage! I would probably have started crying, if an angel named Marloes hadn't saved me and pushed me in front of her where I could see much more.

Best part of the evening:When Damien's band and bell x1 did a cover of Kiss as an encore.

BUT NEXT TIME: FRONT ROW OR NOTHING!!!!

SO I just got back from The Decemberists!!

I was front row, center...right under Colin's mic! pretty much amazing, he played "The Tain" (the whole song!)

and after the show I met him and got his autograph and picture taken with him and he was reallly super nice and IT WAS INCREDIBLE.

I was at the Snow Patrol show with Adelaide yesterday and like she said... it was visually and musically orgasmic

I should have been screaming my lungs out right about now at the Dutch gig, but instead I'm sitting here at home behind my computer with an Arcade Fire dvd in the background. Yet again! (but no Dublin Mudslide to drown my disappointment this time, Cille!)

I hate you all

I still think they could have replaced Win with Rik Mayall and finished the tour properly. No one would have noticed.

Now come on Cille, you can't go around hating people just because they've seen AF more than once because that would mean you hate me too

Well it's a love-hate kind of deal.

Seriously, I was genuinely sad - tears n'all - when I watched a live vid the night I heard (from a certain *IAN* someone ) about the canceled gig the following night. I had never seen any AF live videos before and was no *huge* fan of their albums, but watching them on screen moved me to tears - their energy was just amazing. I really really REALLY hope I'll be able to see them live soon.

Watched Ane Brun last night, Nina Kinert opening. I've been a fan of Ane's for a while, but her set bored me - Nina was the real catch that night! Good songwriting, great voice, cute swedish girl.
