Sorry about that but I knew Marloes was in town for the gig and thought it better to let her know that t was off when I heard as opposed to having you guys show up at hte venue.

It was totally alright, unless you made Rik/Win ill to spite us with like, black germ magic or something. That'd be non-cool.

Last show - Damien @ Hiro ballroom

Next show - The Frames, an intimate gig in NYC with a Q&A session that's being recorded for XM radio.

Then in May, Amy Winehouse, Arcade Fire & 2 Damo gigs, NYC & Philly.

Boban Markovic Orkestar at Bozar, Brussels last friday. Pure Balkans madness, I love them.

The Frames last Friday -- "incredible" doesn't even begin to describe it!

yesterday: the amazing Cat Power

It was really nice, her voice and her presence are incredible, but the audience was really bugging me. I've never been to a concert where people were so lethargic...

I've heard from many that she's much less 'reliable' in her gigs... Has her performance 'style' changed? Now that she is sober and more confident??

amy winehouse and patrick wolf in one night, that would be perfect for me, but what a weird combination to put them together.

mine is some blues band called Blue Notes at Bray Jazz Festival.

I saw Reborn this friday. A couple of years ago he was one of the contestents of an idols competition. Normally this is not the kinda thing that I go and see. But I wanted to give him a go because he writes his own music and lyrics and he was really good. And next week I'm going to Hooverphonic. Lookin' forward to that one :-)

What do you mean waiting for them to *come* to the states? They're from the states and they've been on tour a bunch of this year already. They'll be back at the end of the summer.

Last show I went to was Mando Diao with Pop Levi (hated him) and The Films.

Saw Damien last night at Radio City, prior to that was Amy Winehouse in Philadelphia earlier this month.

Prior to that was The Frames at the Living Room in NYC, an amazing intimate fans only gig in late April...

yesterday: Bright Eyes

Well, I definitely enjoyed it, but it wasn't the best concert I've ever seen. Not even close. It was extremely hot, Conor and the band seemed a little bit... I don't know... distracted? And they played too much of "Cassadaga".
Some songs were really great, though.
