Anyone with a M-Audio Soundcard here??
I've disabled the old soundcard (witch is in the motherboard) and installed my new one. It's a M-Audio Audiophile 192. But I cant hear a sound. I've tried to adjust the levels on in/out and I can see the computer gets some signals from my keyboard. Although its not thru the midi cables, just the other ones. I've installed Reason (sequenser) and messed around in the preferences, but still no sound. Does anyone know what my settings should be??
And what is the difference between main-out/Monitor Out ?? I can plug my speakers in both of them right??

Hey there,
i've got the firewire 410, and I love it. Absolutely adore the damn thing. M-audio is the ****, they make really great audio interfaces. With regards to your problem, in Reason, i think the sequencer should be able to auto-detect the keyboard. you should be able to see this in the preferences menu. I haven't used midi controllers with Reason, but according to a friend, that's all you should need to do. |

Thank you! I'll check it out. I just bought a new computer too, so everything is really new to me. Not only to get everything to work together, but also understanding everything in the sequencer. Not to mention that the fans in the computer sounds like a big airport. That will be a problem too when I start recording!
The soundcard problem shouldn't be a problem really. I've got some friends who can help me, but they are all on vacations. So I just think I need to be patient and wait for two weeks... uhh..!! But I'll be sure to check out your tip! thank U
