BATMAN BEGINS!!! - cool and slick and yeaaaah
KING KONG!! - gigantically cool, an absolute immense film, especially on a big screen... i wonder if it'd have the same effect comming out of a tv, but still, WOW.

harry potter and the goblet of fire - good! excellent! but then again i have been madly in love with daniel radcliffe for about four years now.. i had a dream about him last night
pride and prejudice - not as good as the tv series (colin firth, swoon) but it was okay i guess. gotta read the book though. just like heaven - rom com alert.. good though. not blockbuster material but it was good. the chronicles of narnia - so good! the special effects were amazing apart from the times when it looked like those 50s black and white movies with the background behind the car.. you know what i'm talking about wallace and gromit and the curse of the were-rabbit - not as good as the short movies at all, but it was still very funny and very well done. batman begins - crappity crap crap. hated it. but that might have been because i went with two friends and got ignored all night. team america - worst film i have ever seen. puppet sex for far too long. puppet vomiting for far too long. terrible. march of the penguins - a little boring at times but well worth seeing. they're soooo cute and weird les choristes - excellent french film, absolutely excellent mad hot ballroom - only like the best film ever! well not really but it was brilliant, interesting, funny and had you pretty much on the edge of your seat at the end.

The Chronicles of Narnia, i love it not just because of the Christianity theme but also the animation was well done. for the first time i don't mind the talking animals, cos that lion really seems possessing that noble spirit.
Walk The Line, i didn't know much about Johnny Cash before seeing this movie. now i absolutely respect him, such a soul. March of Penguins, they have such a hard life, it's beautiful and moving and simple documentary.

i thought batman begins was really disappointing and i'm a christian bale and a batman fan.. charley and the chocolate factory i also didn't care for i still like the original best, and the corpse bride wasn't as good as i hoped either and i usually really like tim burton films..
the jacket - i'm a sucker for time travel movies and iggy sang the track for the end credits. i like adrien brody sin city - very dark and stylized, i love comic book genres and this one did it up excellently kung fu hustle the hitchikers guide to the galaxy - haven't laughed so hard in a movie in ages crash - excellent film top one of the year for me still want to see harry potter, aeon flux, elizabethtown and loggerheads.. i don't think the last two even showed here so i guess i'll wait for the dvd's to come out |

i loved it, after all tis batman. Batman! i loved batman, i used to have a little batman that had a zipwire and slid accross my room to defeat penguins in mighty battles.
Spiderman however is rubbish, he has no gagets, therefore you can't be him unless u get bitten by some stupid radioactive teranchula, which never happens. maybe i only liked the film because it was batman, oh well, the car was cool, but not a batmobile. i hope he crashes it in the next one and gets something sportier. I loved charlie and the chocolate factory. though i haven't seen the first film since i was puny. i say again though, KONG KONG KONG

It was a ****ing crap Film year this year. Terrible. The only thing that was good was Sideways.
Terrible year, far too mainstream, not an indie year like 2004(one of the best years for film ever) High hopes about 06.....Match point... |

The Constant Gardener - It is a beautiful movie and Ralph Fiennes is amazing... ( and very good-looking, wich is allways nice
I couldn`t stop thinking about the movie for days, I think it is even better than the book by John Le Carrè. |

oh my i sobbed during king kong....SO sad. maybe i'm the only one who was so depressed by that movie, i dont know....
i saw matchpoint recently, it's a woody allen film. REALLY GREAT, i reccomend it! i agree with Livo, les choristes and mad hot ballroom were SO good. i don't know if this counts for 2005, but 'maria full of grace' was such a great movie!! ahhh i love movies and i see far too many, so i should think of more great ones.... i saw emily rose with a big group of friends, TWICE, and was in absolute hysterics. i didn't think it was THAT bad, though, just a tad bit funny.

sideways had a slow pace, but i dont understand why people find that if a movie is slow it is automatically boring.

i don't mind a slow pace (especially if it's in a dreamy surreal kind of way) in fact sometimes that's just what i'm in the mood for, but i honestly couldn't make it through that movie, i walked away from it bored to tears halfway through. what did you think was so good about it?

*tongue in cheek* btw, kong also made me cry like a little girl... "And lo, the beast looked upon the face of beauty. And beauty stayed his hand. And from that day on, he was as one dead." "It wasn't the airplanes; it was beauty killed the beast." *cries*

It was a modern woody allen about the battered man trapped in a growing capitalist and materialistic atmosphere. I loved it, but i do love wine. I thought it was great in a fed up way.I dunno, maybe it was a boys film..... |
