August 30th/31st (haha its true) vicar street gig review
best giig ever guys
it was excellenté ask seanie bumpie for the setlist he was takin it down beside me. the gig offered everything damien rice has to offer. he blew the audience away with his new and wacky entourage of performers. Vyv did a solo LISA PLAYED THE LOWDEN!!!! for a song I just got one of those brown elephant t-shirts they were selling afterwards and im wearin it right now. there were tear jerking moments, moments you wanted to join in on rootless tree and sing "**** YOU" and times when you felt him croon i was trying to catch lisas eye alnight (i was in the front row!) and i caught it during the blowers daughter and blew her a kiss

fionn was reallly good. he started off and you could see obviously fairly quickly that he was getting annoyed at people talking down the back.
then once he addressed the issue they heard him and stopped. he then played much better because he wasnt distracted. some great tunes out of that guy!!!

fionn wasn't great last night, better tonight.
they had the fans turned off because last night you could here them clicking and it was kinda annoying. tonight was great! but last night we got to hear more "new" songs and he played insane last night which I had never heard with the band. I really enjoyed it! did anyone record either nights? |
