well here's my contribution to the topic...

i thought that one of my longest friendships was on it's way to collapsing, i mean i have known this guy for 10 years and we've been really close for the past 5...well i thought that he was giving me the brush-off, you know, making no effort to phone me or meet up or anything really. so, i confronted him about it (albeit onMSN messenger, a godsend if you can't do face-to-face!!) i told him exactly how i felt...that i missed him, that i'm fed up of conducting our friendship thru MSN (even though i am at uni most of the time), that i hate when he says he'll give me a call or pop round then he doesn't...everything i wanted to say, i said. i even went as far as to ask him if he was trying to give me the brush-off (i.eam i someone that he feels he has to be friends with oram i someone he wants to be friends with)

the outcome of all of this was that he is just a useless sh*t who is incapable of usingthat thing they call thetelephone and that he is really sorry and he hasn't been trying to give me the brush-off and that i am the closest friend he has (even though i hardly see him)and he wants it to stay that way...and he came to see me today for the first time in weeks and it was all good!!!

so i guess my point is i was scared to confront him but i did it and it turned out to be alright, so yeh confront him, i think!!!
