I was watching the Cannonball DVD last friday and got to thinking that it'd be nice to draw a sketch, here's the results... If you're blind/ mad enough please feel free to use as wallpaper, if you wanna use either for anything else please credit me for the work and mail me to let me know where it is
http://www.deviantart.com/view/3583380/ and one of Lisa, although this was fun (and messy ) to draw I'm not too happy with the result... http://www.deviantart.com/view/3573181/ if you're curious you can view the rest of my gallery from these pages, and if you're a DA member can leave nice comments (hint hint) hehe, thanks for your time, I hope you liked the pics Nick |

Without trying to be rude, looking at the sketch of Lisa, I presume that the pic of Lisa and Damo is creative photoshopping and no painting or drawing. Still great pic, but not handmade i guess. (am i right smithy?)

I produce what is known as Vector art, in this instance I had made a couple of sketches in my sketchbook, and using the paused DVD for reference I then drew the pic into illustrator in two segments as damien and lisa do not appear together like this in the film. For inital outlines I gridded up the image to make sure everything was in place, and then approximated where the shadows would fall, finally completing the peice by filling in the hi-lights. So yes you're correct cornfleck it's not conventional art, however neither is it clever use of photoshop I prefer working like this as when I draw normally I end up wearing through the paper with the eraser lol, btw here's a link http://www.deviantart.com/view/3573181/to a more tradition picture of lisa, I'm not completely happy with it, but should give you an idea of some of the stages I went through when drawing this. Anyone on here is more than welcome to save and keep the pic, would bemy pleasure... Finally I'd like to thank everyone for all the lovely comments best wishes, NickEdited by: Smithy |
