no idea, really. because I have 2 EPs and it's not there either. it's an unreleased B-side I think.
that one you posted is from the MTV live session, right? http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/35625...com-live.jhtml she did a fantastic piano version of Worn Me Down, a song that I'm not much of a fan, but I love thios version. she also did 3 more songs, check it out. back to Woman, this is the KCRW version, absolutely wonderful, with a cello is so much better!! http://www.mediafire.com/?dhnkdigguyk

oh! I haven't been to her site for soo long. I missed the blogs!!
and that Jonah song it's in the Japanese version of "Elephants...", I could never find it anywhere. shame it's only 30 secs. I hope they'll post more new songs. Maybe we'll get an EP like "Loose Ends" before the new album and I'm waiting for grey's to start on cable by the end of the month so I'm not downloading, didn't know her song will be in an epi. |

I wonder if there's gonna be a new EP with b's or something... otherwise, what's the point of releasing a 30 sec clip????????
and Vere, you should soooooooooo check Rachael's music. She's one of the best around. Great melodies, great voice a bit raspy but with personality, amazing deep lyrics, mostly about fecked up relationships... Songs like Elephants, The Reason Why, Sunday Afternoon, Woman, all stellar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^I don't think they could post more than a 30 sec clip as it was officially released.
but it seems they'll be adding more new songs. yay!! Quote:
I read somewhere once that CDs in Japan are very expensive so music companies always add weird stuff to encourage people to buy them. and you totally should check her out. I adore her, she's really an amazing and talented artist, fantastic live and really funny. I just read her latest blog, hilarious Last edited by eva_arg; 10-06-2009 at 09:02 PM. |

Listen to Rachael covering Bruce Springsteen's "Meeting Across The River"
we covered this as a part of a tribute WXPN in philly was doing for the boss. they've got more at their site so check em out! this was no easy task, but just proves the beauty of fumbling. we had dan and chris come up to kev's studio in upstate ny and as firm believers in 'first takes are often the most inspired', we just started playing the song with no previous listens for the band whatsoever. they didn't know we were recording and it felt really fresh to me. you really have to listen and just 'feel' in a situation like this and they were great. we caught a vibe. they wanted to go back and rerecord when after 15 min kevin and i declared 'we're done', but i wouldn't let them. i got a little boss in me too. produced/ eng/ mixed - kevin salem vox, piano, glockenspiel - ry electric guitar - kevin salem drums - chris giraldi bass - dan carlisle Check it out right here! http://www.imeem.com/rachaelyamagata...oss-the-river/
