Judging from my most recent notions about her, she should plunge into sean-nós singing. Now that woukd be awesome!

Dunno if it was posted before, but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damien_rice says "According to Hotpress magazine, "Lisa Hannigan, Iain Archer, all of Bell X1, Jason Newsted and Dave Mustaine are getting together to form a band called 'The Jilted'."
???

Jilt (jĭlt) Pronunciation Key
tr.v. jilt·ed, jilt·ing, jilts
To deceive or drop (a lover) suddenly or callously.

Think about this and you'll understand all.

Iain Archer used to be a guitarist in Snow Patrol - he co-wrote Run and a bunch of other tracks on Final Straw and was part of The Reindeer Section for a while.

Jason Newstead used to be in Metallica until he left a few years ago (supposedly because James Hetfield wouldn't let any of them be in any side-projects/do their own thing)

They were all essentially replaced/kicked out of/quit/abandoned by the bands they originally had enormous success with... so, I'm pretty sure the "news" was just supposed to be tongue-in-cheek

Although, come to think of it... it'd be interesting to see Lisa try a Metallica cover! :

dave mustaine is the frontman (is it right?, i mean the leader man) of megadeth...
so, i think all of this new band thing is a big joke, right?

Also ex of Metalica. He's still bitter about it as evidenced by his scene in "Some Kind Of Monster".
