Its good to see that all this excessive rambling and wailing we've been doing for weeks did some good after all I hope we really helped you in these troubled weeks with our support and thank you for your kind words.

Wow, it's so rare for somebody to take time out to write a thankyou note these days... for Lisa to take the time to thank strangers like us... such a lovely person

That was SO humble and thoughtful. As busy as she is, to stop and take time to say thanks to us? US?? We should be thanking her not only for her music,(which we do, hehe), but for reminding us what a few nice words can do for another.
One word.. WOWZA! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo Lisa

yeah, that's really nice of her! Genuine too, which is great. The amount of stars now days who would get a publicist/spokesperson to release a statement. Yay for humbleness and down to earth... ness

Ack, I was excited about the possibilities of a Damien show without Lisa until I saw that statement.

We love you Lisa, and Herbie Hancock says your note choices are like Miles Davis'.
Something like that must make all the effort worthwhile. You're very much appreciated in this neck of the woods.

how nice. i think that really speaks for her. as a busy artist - but even more for her personality. i think that's what really sets her apart from so many other musicians

Thats cool Lisa, im sure all of us Eskimo's will be closely monitoring whatever you decide to do next.
As Emmett says this place may be a Damien Rice fansite but im sure all of us here love everything youve done with both Damien and on your own and will continue to support you into the future. Good luck Thom |

She's a gem, that was very sweet of her to do and say, and one can't help but note the fact that she did NOT use that message as a way to convey bitterness, discuss the situation itself, none of that.
She simply said what feels like a heart-felt thank you. And that.... is awesome and very much appreciated!!!!!!! |
