Hey all. My name's Rich, and I live in Charlotte, NC, in the U.S. I was introduced to Damien last year by my friend, Craig, who paid $40 USD for an import copy of 'O'!! (Good man.) Being a cheapskate, I didn't buy mine until it was officially released in the U.S. It hasn't left my CD player since.

You know what's amazing?? The songs don't wear out. In fact, they're a near daily source of inspiration. I'm in the process of recording things for a new CD and 'O' is one of the albums I use as a template. (Along with 'Bringing It All Back Home,' 'Dirt Floor,' and a few others...) I figure if I shoot for that level and miss, I'm still doing OK.

Anyway, the website is at www.RedPerspective.com if you want to hear what a fellow Damien Rice fan is creating. It's mostly live tracks right now, but hopefully I'll have some studio cuts posted soon.

Anywho, welcome Rich , So you live in Charlotte? I visited there last spring, it was so nice and pretty and the weather was wonderful. I was actually born in Raleigh so I visit NC frequently. Glad to have you as new NC edition to our eskimo friend family
