That's weird. I watched it completely before uploading. Did anyone else have the same problem?

Maybe it's a player issue. Which one are you using? I tested it with VLC and Media Player Classic

I don't know what I'm doing wrong then. It stops playing in the middle of MFFF, around the 25 minute mark.

I've downloaded parts 1 and 2. I extract both. After extraction, only one new folder shows up though, so I open that folder and then using VLC Player I open the mkv file, which shows up as 398mb even though the two RAR files together make up almost 700mb..., but it does say that it's ~45 minute duration. And then it just stops playing during MFFF. :-/

Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

i think both files in zip 1 and 2 are the same. at least, they were to me so i saved only one.

have you tried to play it straight from the zip folder, without extracting any file. i have no idea if it´s actually possible, but you could have a go. i hope you figure something out to make it work and i´m sorry for not being able to be more helpful. i can try to upload the file to dropbox (haha, now that i learnt how to share things on dropbox i´m happy to use it to help, he) and send you the link, if it helps.

I'm on a Mac and when I open the zip file it automatically extracts it, it doesn't seem to let me explore the zip file first.

I wouldn't ask you to go to the trouble of uploading a file to dropbox! Thank you though! Lovely of you to offer.

Are you by any chance using safari to download the files?
MEGA causes problems with safari…
try using firefox or chrome.
I'm on a mac too. testing the download at the moment…

edit: try using UnRarX to unrar instead of Stuffit Expander, that solved the problem for me.

yes for some reason Mega and Safari don´t like each other, I´d recommend Chrome

Then, regardless of whether I unzip just part 1, or I unzip part 1 and then part 2, or I unzip both at the same time, this is always the end result:




and inside that new folder is always this, the file size staying the same:




and when I open the mkv file, the first 25 minutes plays no problem:




but in the middle of MFFF, around the 25 minute mark, the file just stops playing:




I'm using Mac / Chrome / UnRarX.

Just download the wetransfer...
you shoud get one zipfile with the video (not 2 separate files)
I've tested this one on my Macbook and it works fine.

sorry for the inconvenience. I have to split big files because I have a crappy upload speed. it usually cuts halfway through and I have to start over and over.

I have a mac too and could not even unzip the file for technical problems that I am having with my computer, but thanks to UnRarX I was able to unzip the file and watch the video.

Verenita, if were not because I use Safari I would not know either what that is. It is so helpful to have eskimo friends with so many skills and knowledge, and always willing to help others to resolve even technical difficulties to be able to enjoy Damien's music.
