this is kind of a weird thread... more like a bragging thread... hahaha...
so here are some of mine that come to mind... GUSTER - when they were playing in and around boston i use to hit up a lot of their shows cause they were so much fun... eventually become good friends with them and would hang out with them in their dressing rooms when they started to get bigger and play larger venues in boston HOWIE DAY - a friend/girlfriend from college started dating him right after we ended a little fling we had going... howie came to play at our college and i guess they met each other after the gig and kept the night going back at his hotel room... she lived with me that summer in my house and so howie came by a few times to party with us and he'd send packages all the time... anyone want a fedex slip with howie's home address and cell phone number? joking... but looking back i should have kept those slips... could have made me some money on ebay or something... haha i have a lot of random ones like i grew up in the same town where phil donahue, michael bolton, paul newman, and martha stewart live... my friend's parents are friends with jack johnson's parents... blah blah blah... brag brag brag

erm.. let's see...
my brother went to the frames hallowe'en ball and in whelan's afterwards glen asked him if i was there and same thing happened at an erin mckeown concert last july i have a shirt which used to belong to the lead singer of franz ferdinand, signed by all the band it's not much but it's fairly impressive for a 15 year old

My Uncle has met 98 Degrees, Melissa Joan Heart, Tom Cruise (or however you spell his last name), and other random famous people b/c he used to live in CA.
I have a friend, who was friends with a girl, whose aunt was a close friend of Robin Williams. No proof though. You'll just have to take my word for it.

I went to a kabbalah meeting in a building in miami beach, and when I was waiting for my car iggy pop was by my side waiting for his old rolls roice...we stood there for 5 to 8 mins..he looked at me a bunch of times but I didn't say anything..I think he has an appartment in that building, he looked very confortable, with some old jeans and a open short-sleeve beach-type shirt...
I have a Michael Jackson shoe, even though I don't like him..

there are some excellent ones here.... he he....
okay a few more of mine..... ahem.... played with carina round..... not literally boys.....in a band supporting, played with northern uproar for 2 nights, played with moodswings, herbalizer and salttank at the SAS ball and made loaded magazine. We also played a pilot show at the BBC in anne and nick's conservatory.. I got a video of that one, photo's of the rest. my wife has been on garden invaders, my son has met the guy from walking with dinosaurs, nick owen, tony and patrick from talk sport, mark evans, prince charles and connie from blue peter and my band just got a management deal with reflex management down at UB40's studios!! And.... on Saturday just gone I stood chating with Toyah Wilcox, I asked her to sing on my record but she told me she was the kiss of death to anyone in the music industry!

I am the only guy to have beaten the current northern area middleweight boxing champion... I knocked him out in the second round... sadly for him, I moved up to light heavyweight and he went down to light middle so he was never given the chance to put it right... not that he would have, I would have knocked him out again.
Does my New York trip count? I was recording with Maroon 5's producer and Blondie's guitar player a couple of weeks ago in Manhattan... still waiting to hear the results. I am a published writer, I've had six pieces of fiction published in magazines, usually fantasy or horror oh and one sci fi tale. A tune called 'Freedom Shore' from my old band, 'Curses' is on the soundtrack of a surfing dvd and is still played on the radio in parts of Oz and South Africa.

aha! i thought of something else. that actor, josh duhamel, is from my hometown and his mother was one of my high school gym teachers. he opened a restaurant here on main street and he was the speaker at this year's university commencement. i've spoken to him before, because my dad and his mom work together, but i must say he's kind of a prick.

Um...My uncle was in Journey before they were Journey, Another Uncle was the official photographer for the Olympics (in LA in the 80's), I've met and spoken to glen & Johnny of the frames (johnny offered to lend me a book of his)(which I know is nothing compared to those of you who live in Ireland), and mark geary, stood right in a group with Damien and Herbie Hancock, I've worked with the guy who dresses Jay Leno, stood next to Jack Nicholson, my Grandparents have spoken to James Caan,my cousin is a 49er cheerleader, and my family is friends with Kevin Federline's family (Mr. Britney Spears, I know I really should keep that last one to myself).
