This is the most frustrating thing evvvvvvvvverrrrrrrrr. I live in Ballinteer........ where Marley Park is- actually right beside Marley Park and I get free tickets to all the gigs there. I'll defo get free tickets to Damo's concert aswell because of noise pollution!!! BUT ILL BE IN AUSTRALIA. its like a dream come through that he's playing right beside my house but so annoyed i can't even go.
Don't forget he has played here before. He played at the end of the sold out Frames Concert a few years ago. I could hear it all clearly from my back garden and He got a massive cheer when he came on and did the blower's daughter. I'd say he'll sell out Marley Park no problem. Look at the last few gigs he did in Ireland.....Vicar Street for example although its smaller, sold out in minutes |

Well the difference is that it's usually the same 4000 people who want tickets. Selling 17,000 tickets is another matter entirely. It took Radiohead a few hours as I recall, and they have twenty times the pulling power he does.

NME just posted the news a few minutes ago. According to them, it's Damien biggest headline gig ever, they mention the capacity is 22,000 people. They also mention the gig is part of his world tour.

I think we should take away Damien's passport. He'll have no choice then but to tour Ireland for the rest of his life

Lisa Hannigan should join him since it's in Dublin (lol -- still dreaming).

id prefer to see without her at a big gig like that. i still hear radio ads for this so im presuming it still hasnt sold out..

I'm seriously thinking of coming to Dublin and see him again... mmmm... and I so love Fionn too! Need to figure out how much it would cost me to get there and spend a couple of nights... how long do you think it will go on?
