It's an art project by photographer Spencer Tunick - he has made other similar happenings with many nude people appearing in one place at the same time. Good stuff

^That is what made me smile! Thanks for the link!

(also, had an interview today to be a Senior Editor at our Law Journal. I think it went pretty well! Not sure how great my 3 hour editing test went yesterday, but at least today went alright. I hear back sometime next week. Eeep.)

i'm really glad that i'm having my birthday party together with a friend who's deaf. so at least half the people know how to sign, which is really good as i've lost my voice during choir practice on tuesday... i guess it went on holiday to the caribbean or so... ah, well...

my smile for the day: i made an appointment for a new tattoo - got some money for it for my birthday! i'll have to wait three months to get it, because the artist so so fully booked, but i know that he'll be doing a good job ;-)
and a friend of mine was with me, just to get some ideas for his first tattoo and made an appointment himself - brilliant! hehe

^oh that is so awesome! I have one more planned, but I have yet to make an appointment.. Trying to convince myself that I won't ever end up in a situation where I will have to regret getting a tattoo on my wrist. Oddly enough I don't worry about the one I have right behind my ear ^^

^ah yes, that's right. Poor director, he looked very annoyed, to say the least.

As usual a Danish produced short won, 'the new tenants' - I seriously don't know how we keep winning with these crappy short films, someone must be greasing up the academy somehow.
Why 'An education' (Danish director) was nominated is beyond my comprehension too.

i´m not sure what you´re talking about, hehe... but really.
do mean you refuse to watch the film or the oscar´s ceremony (too late, uh? )?

regarding the references... WAIT! NOW, i finally get it... ¡juaz! that part is hilarious... francella is hilarious himself
don´t let a little meaningless detail makes you miss the chance to watch this brilliant film

Took part in a protest today against the government rejecting the appeal of two Iranian political asylum seekers. Had a few drinks afterwards... refugees are badass.

Just taught an absolute beginner's Irish language class. It was great fun, I think I should do this for a living.

this night, my violiniste and me played a gig at some small bar. just for the money you know... nothing special. anyway, we missed our train and so we stepped into a run down bar at the station. there we played only two songs, but that was fantastic. it was a place where things like those never happen and the people were just great. so we took the experience and it once more made me aware of the fact that booked gigs and the likes are just dull and the real stuff happens on the streets. i want to go back there some day soon... so, yeah, a smile, but sad one, somehow..
